Information on How We Work
- We do not stock large quantities of seed.
- We receive small quantities on a weekly/bi-weekly basis depending on availability.
- We receive stock from a number of suppliers-depending on who can help with a good quality.
- We do have a high turnover and follow a first come/pay, first served.
- We may have a 2 week lead time – please understand this.
We process over weekends and clear orders through the week, depending on availability of stock on hand. When receiving orders we will always communicate on stock availability. Orders when stock is available will take +/- 10 working days unless there is a shortage/delay on stock. Payment confirms your order. Orders are processed once payment reflects – also depending on stock availability.
Due to un-stability of nature, the agricultural sector prices may change without warning.
Please Consider:
- We have a high turn-over of food sales particularly from the 24th of the month.
- We supply wholesale and retail.
- Wholesale = large quantities out.
- Our suppliers have set dates to deliver seed to us.
- There is a shortage of numerous seed in South Africa – therefore batches we receive are small.
- Seed can be frozen in a well sealed container.
- Placing dried Bay Leaves in your seeds can keep weevils out, allowing for longer storage of seed.
- Dried Bay Leaves can be obtained from spice sections in certain grocery stores or Indian Spice Shops.
